Millions&Billions collection

The Millions & Billions collection was created through a unique collaboration, inspired by the glamour of the 1970s and the iconic style figures of that era, as well as the luxurious Italian seaside towns. The designer behind the collection is Balázs Pécsi, an interior stylist and luxury expert, driven by his personal passion for these Italian regions. The collection was unveiled at the S/ALON Budapest Interior Design Exhibition at the end of 2024, boldly declaring itself against current trends through its motifs and distinctive patterns. However, the most special piece in the collection is the world’s currently most expensive decorative cushion, which is delivered to your doorstep upon request by a carriage, limousine, or classic car.

In the 1970s, famous figures like Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelly, Maria Callas, Elizabeth Taylor, and Sophia Loren frequented the towns of Capri, Portofino, and Porto Cervo. Their iconic style and these now luxurious destinations heavily influenced the color palette and patterns of the Millions & Billions collection. The collection’s designer, luxury expert Balázs Pécsi, used artificial intelligence to design the graphics, which are also reflected in his style and etiquette book, Stílusgourmand, released in May.

The collection currently offers 30 types of wallpaper in five color options (coral, pink, turquoise, lime-lilac, and gray), which can be ordered in matte, satin, or metallic finishes, further enhancing the visual effect. The wallpaper collection includes intricate, figurative motifs and simple, geometric patterns, as well as completely homogeneous versions of the base colors in each colorway, all tailored to meet the customer’s preferences.

Another significant product group within the collection consists of decorative cushions, whose velvet surfaces are dominated by key elements or patterns taken from the collection’s motif system. The corners of these cushions are adorned with colorful tassels.

An Exception Made…
MÜÜSKA is not a traditional furniture manufacturer, but rather a so-called “collectible design” brand. This means that the brand’s main product line of upholstered furniture navigates between furniture, home décor, and art. Our core concept is to collaborate with renowned visual artists whose selected works are printed on high-quality materials, and these are used as upholstery, primarily on 19th and 20th-century armchairs. Limited edition new pieces are also created, such as armchairs, beds, and even custom-made wallpapers and rugs. Our collaboration with Balázs Pécsi is a special exception and is a tribute to his renowned work in the Hungarian and international design and luxury industries. Of course, upholstered furniture is also part of the Millions & Billions collection, represented by high-backed, throne-like armchairs, which serve as true statement pieces for any worthy interior.

Monogram Embroidery in 24 Karat Gold
One customizable feature of the decorative cushions is the option to have the buyer’s or recipient’s monogram embroidered on the back of the cushion using gold-colored thread. This option can be requested with thread containing 40% real 24-karat gold, produced by the Piana Clerico thread mill in Piedmont, founded in 1582. Thus, the decorative cushion, filled with Hungarian goose down and feathers, is considered the world’s most expensive decorative cushion with a price tag of over 10,000 EUR. Accordingly, the delivery method is also quite special: upon request, the cushion is delivered in a gift box by horse-drawn carriage, classic car, or limousine to the specified address.
